The other way around

Today is the wife's birthday, so now it was my turn to give her something. Unfortunately I don't have the skill to make her anything nearly as nifty as the kimono she made for me, so I just bought a couple of things. First, a thin silver chain to replace one of hers that broke a couple of days ago. More of an "oh well, might as well wrap it and call it a present" thing than an actual gift. Secondly, a signed limited edition tape with the contains-nudity version of Claudia Christian's "Taboo" video, featuring not only Claudia but also Alexandra Tydings (and it's directed and produced by Claire Stansfield, to increase the Xena connection even more). And if you think that's a crap present to give one's wife, I'd like to point out that said wife already has standing on her desk at work a signed photograph of Claudia Christian wearing nothing but panties and two crossed swords :-)

Main drawback is that it's an NTSC tape, so we'll have to buy a new VCR before we can watch it. And it's a tape, so I can't take screencaps from it.

Come to think of it...

Some of you may have started to wonder why I don't refer to my wife by name. There's a reason behind that, and it's on her request I'm doing it. Unfortunately telling you about the reason would give away too much, so you'll just have to keep wondering, I'm afraid. It's certainly not that I'm ashamed of her or anything like that, anyway.
