So it's Christmas Eve. It comes faster every year, doesn't it?

The wife and I exchanged presents. No excuse for that is too flimsy :-) She gave me a frying-plate thingy, which is neat. I gave her a camera tripod, which she seemed to like. Now she's on the phone to her 85-year-old grandmother, who is an amazingly positive and happy person, particularly considering that she's too ill to go outside her flat without assistance. I have a few presents to wrap, and when that's done we're heading over to my mother's place for some serious gluttony together with her, my sister and brother, sister's bf and son, mom's bf and a couple of his kids with accompanying SOs. As opposed to how quite a few people seems to have it, I fully expect this to be entirely fun. All the people involved are decent folks, and a handful of years ago we jointly decided to toss all those traditions (and food) that nobody really likes but does anyway. So now we only have the traditional things we enjoy (like Karl-Bertil Jonsson, which you non-Swedes have no idea what it is) and the food we like. With plenty of mulled wine and booze, of course. And tabletop bowling. Mustn't forget the tabletop bowling!
