Got up early, and the ride to Västerås arrived on time. Sat and listened to a talk on making databases highly available from nine until half past noon. The talk was interesting, and mentioned many techniques that we could use for our systems if our directors weren't firmly commited to the head-in-the-sand method of disaster planning. Oh well. Lunch followed, and then we went home. And I'm too damn tired from getting up in the middle of the night to do anything creative, so I'm wasting time with Alpha Centauri: Alien Crossfire.
