Now we've been and given our votes in the rather strangely worded EMU/not-EMU referendum (the question asked was "Shall Sweden convert to using the Euro rather than the Krona?", which doesn't necessarily have anything at all to do with the EMU). For the rest of the day, we're off to beat on red-hot iron with hammers.

With 5970 out of 5976 electoral districts counted it seems that the "No" side has won quite decisively, with 56.2% over the "Yes" side's 41.8%. 81.2% of the voters chose to do so, which is pretty high.

So now we wait and see if we get to do the whole debacle all over again until our lords and masters get the answer they want, or if they'll just ignore the result.
