After 23 days of frantic writing, the first draft of Orphea's Song is finally finished. With a good week to go before deadline, too. It ended up being 55787 words long, which works out to an average writing speed of a bit more than 2400 words per day.
And now I think I'm going to take a break of at least a couple of days before I start reading through it all and fixing the bugs. But I have a pretty good feeling about it, actually, so I will make an effort to polish it into shape.
