R.I.P. Veritas Support
Jan. 15th, 2004 03:52 pmVeritas Support used to be very good, giving quick and accurate replies to questions and generally being very nice to deal with. But apparently during the time I've been away from work, they've decided to embrace the quality-is-a-competetive-disadvantage philosophy that is so very common in the computer world. So instead of an answer to my question I got a reply that consisted of a form asking me to provide a bunch of details -- *all* of which were in my original mail, and quoted in their entirety along with the form.
Oh well. I guess it's time to stop recommending Veritas to people.
