Jenny has now looked through the text of Shakespeare's play and concluded that Hamlet/Horatio is canon.

Politics

As happens quite often, more than one place I frequent on the great wide Internet started discussion the same thing at the same time. In this case, politics and in particular the politics of healthcare. I didn't join the discussion, since in the one place where I'd even consider doing so Russ Allbery said exactly what I wanted to say only much clearer than I ever could (he's got my vote for Dictator of the World, that's for sure). But it at least made me think about what I think. And I had a bit of a brainflash. Due to lack of sleep, probably. But anyway, it seemed interesting enough to Google for what others had thought about the same thing.

Only I didn't find anything quite like it. Which seems strange. So I thought I'd ask here: does anyone here know of any attempts to describe politics in terms of emergent behaviour?

Don't know how to number these episodes. This one was first on the DVDs as an 80-minute pilot, but was episodes 11 and 12 according to TvTome...

Anyway, it was nifty. And where do I find the Inara/Kaylee slash? 'Cause there's got to be some. "She's very precious to... us."
