Harry Potter question

Since I sort of said I'd write a Harry Potter crossover fic (for ithurtsmybrain), I guess I'd better try. So, towards that end and since I don't remember all the details from the books, are Padma and Parvati Patil ever portrayed as being better than average at any particular subject? And do we ever get any details on Hermione's wand?
