To all who might be interested: Scandianvian Airlines (SAS) do not want customers who do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer. Officially. I asked, and their support people told me so.
Their online booking site fails at a fairly late stage with Firefox 0.9.3, and you can't (or at least I can't) even look at the site with Opera 7.54 (the front page redirects to a non-existent page). According to their support, MSIE is the only supported way to book online. It might be possible to use some version of Netscape, but they couldn't even say which version or on which platforms. And if you book over the phone the prices are higher, even when they tell you that they're going to give you the "internet price".
To add insult to injury, they have stopped accepting email to their support people, since they received too much of it (really! Their site says so!). There is no listed email address for complaints.
So, if you think that Microsoft is already too dominant on the market, and/or you dislike shoddy treatment of customers, you may wish to avoid doing business with Scandinavian Airlines.
