Today we held our equinox ritual (a bit early, yes, but we're more practical than picky), which was also the first ritual with our two new members. It went well, and was nice, and even the weather cooperated with us.
It was a bit strange to have the newbies there. All our members so far are people that came into our old coven just before our old HPS fell ill, so we didn't fully get to choose them ourselves. But these two new ones we (my HPS and I) found, chose and accepted all by ourselves. So they're our neophytes in a way that the others never were. Which suddenly made this feel more like our coven than I expected it to.
It's a nice feeling. Particularly since it's turning out so well.
