Bought my first-ever piece of equipment related to the production of music today. A Korg CA-30 chromatic tuning thingy. In preparation of when my harp gets here. Which it should do in a couple of weeks, if nothing bad happens.
The beta-reader for the long-ass Sam/Janet thing has been heard from, so apparently I did not manage to explode hir head. I can't make up my mind if I'm relieved or disappointed.
Oh, and I just noticed that with that fic I broke the half-million word barrier for my fic. Only about 350000 is available to all and sundry, though. I'm thinking of upping that to 400k by flipping the "publish" bit on last year's NaNoWriMo mess, since I've decided that it's even worse than the 2003 one and I really don't feel like trying to fix it. Re-write from scratch, yes. Fix, no.
