Free tip to any recruiters who may be reading: When you call and try to interest someone in a new job, it's a really good idea to at least sound like you've read their CV. Appearing as if you're listening to what the person says is also a bonus.

I mean, seriously. Some dude just called with an uninteresting job, and even after I explicitly said that my interest in travel is very near zero he tried to argue that one of the advantages of the job was frequent travel. The recruiter who called last week was much better.
