One down, one to go (part 1)

Just had a meeting with one of the guys in my group whose job will go away, telling him that. He'll almost certainly be offered another position in the company, but anyway. Unfortunately we can't say that until we know more. Not fun. For either of us.

Now for the meeting with the other guy whose job will cease to be, and who almost certainly won't be offered another position since he's not even been working here for a year yet. Which he's quite aware of.

This sucks.
