Oh - just took a look and realised that I must have had text magnification set at 150% or so when I looked the first time (very easy mistake to make in Opera, which scales from about 20% up to 1000% by pressing + or -). At the default magnification the main text is OK but the stuff in the corner is difficult to read - on pages with the subcategory menus it's a bit of a sod, have to scale up to 170% or so to see the smaller text clearly, and at that magnification the main text is huge.
