Web browser frustration

  1. According to Apple's Safari, a color with a certain RGB triplet (hexadecimal 0x8b7500, for example) in HTML is not the same color as the one with the exact same RGB triplet in an image file.
  2. in MSIE, using a CSS statement setting the font size to what it already is ("body { font-size: 100%;}") makes a difference for how the page is rendered.
