Yeah, I was a bit surprised too. But it shouldn't take too long to do B5 S1, there's not much f/f stuff in it :-)
I use a program called MPlayer. I don't know if it's available for Windows, I run FreeBSD. Anyway, it's got a gazillion different output drivers, a few of which are dumping individual movie frames to disk in different image formats. So I'll locate a part of an episode/movie that has interesting images in it, dump it to disk and then look trough all the frames picking out the ones that turned out best. This way I can also get things that happen very quickly, like the three frames of what looks like a naked Renee O'Connor from behind in Xena episode "Forget Me Not".
