You know that Señor Coconut has made a whole album, right? Ten fantastic renderings of Kraftwerk songs in cha-cha-chá, rhumba, cumbia, cumbia merengue, merengue and baklán. I'm not sure if the name of the album is El Baile Alemán or Y Sy Conjunto, since my Spanish is nonexistent...after checking spamazon, it's the first.
Oh dear, they've also done covers on Jean-Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson.
Back to the topic: I've also got a 2CD compilation of Electronica bands doing covers of Kraftwerk songs. Amongst them are Welle: Erdball and Apoptygma Berzerk. The name is "Krafty Move" or "Krafty Moves", depending on where you look.
There's also an Italo Disco medley thing out there, called "Late Night Radio" by "Between the Sheets". I had the 12" back in the eighties...
If you want to hear them, I'm sure something could be arranged. :)
