Well, I didn't find much fanfic available in PDA-friendly form. But I did find a few tools to convert webpages to DOC, which will do. One of them is a Perl module, even, and it looks like it'll be fairly easy to merge with my existing plaintext converter so I can make my own stories available in DOC.

And I have thought about doing a WAP version, but demand for that is likely to be even smaller :-)
