Ok, so this was a fairly interesting one.

An SF TV series with a coherent plot! Pretty neat effects and resonably good characters, too. Very few dud episodes, and a few that kicked truly serious amounts of ass. The first series where I became sufficiently engaged to get new episodes on tape from abroad. I'm not sure of the entire series has ever been shown on broadcast TV in Sweden.

My introduction to media fandom, back in 1991 (I think, maybe 1990). Utterly crap special effects and shoddy sets. Some episodes that stink beyond endurance. But, kickass characters and an overarching sense of grittiness and doom that's very compelling. As someone said, the "heroes" reach their high point in episode three, then it's all downhill for the next fortynine. Oh, and in the end the bad guys win. How could you not love that?
buffy
For years I resisted watching it, being revolted by the media hype around it. Then, one fateful day, a friend of mine handed me a stack of tapes with the entire second season. I and the wife watched them all in a week, after which I immediately ordered the three first seasons on DVD. For a while there we became seriously obsessed... During late december 2001/early january 2002 we watched over 100 episodes of Buffy and Angel.
crossovers
I just like them.
f/f slash
Lots of boinking women. What's not to like?
fan fiction
There's so much we don't get to see on screen!
inkubus sukkubus
British pagan-goth-rock band. I like them. They're fun live, usually.
kate bush
Is Goddess!
lysator
Lysator Academic Computer Society. A students' computer club at Linköping University, founded in 1973. Where I first came into contact with Unix and the Internet.
lyskom
A conference system at Lysator. I've been using it since early October
1990. I've accumulated over six years of logged on time.
misanthropy
No, I don't think the human species is a good idea.
perl
My favourite programming language, by a huge margin. As of version 5.8.0, my name's even in the Perl distribution. For very small contributions, granted, but still.
mod_perl
Quick and powerful way to make your website non-static.
roleplaying
I've been gamemastering for over twenty years. It's been less of it lately. Work takes to bloody much time!
sisters of mercy
I like their music.
wicca
Active member of a wiccan coven since 1996. Generally, I just can't stand the sort of wiccans (and other pagans) you find on Usenet or in LiveJournal communities.
xena
Fun series, and the one that brought me into f/f slash. I just can't understand how anyone can not think that Xena and Gabby are lovers. Gabby is aggressively gay, dammit.
