Kingdom Hearts

Bought Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 yesterday. It's an odd game, being a sort of meta-level mixture of the worlds from Final Fantasy VII to X and various Disney worlds. The primary player party consists of one new Squaresoft character, Sora, accompanied by Donald Duck and Goofy. The gameplay so far is very much Squaresoft, so if you like the Final Fantasy games you'll almost certainly like this. The graphics are excellent, probably the best I've seen on the PS2 yet (and proof that when the people porting Deus Ex called it "limited" the limits were in their programming skills and not the hardware). The 3D animations of the Disney characters particularly shine; they've managed to totally capture the characteristic movement patterns of their 2D-animated versions.
