cdybedahlGet to work a little earlier than usual and a little later than I should. The first because I had a meeting first thing in the morning, the second because the first half hour (at least) of every meeting goes to battling Windows on someone's laptop to start PowerPoint and get it to show stuff on an external monitor.
Get to my desk, check the calendar to see where I'm supposed to be and notice that the meeting is cancelled. Damn. Got up early for no reason at all :-(
Oh well. Get some other stuff done, like having the guy who's quitting today show me the machines I'm in theory taking care of from now on.
Get back up to my desk, find a post-it on my monitor saying the noon meeting is also cancelled. Which is no surprise, really, since all the people who were supposed to be in it accidentally met late yesterday afternoon and hashed things out then.
Now I'm just waiting for the afternoon meeting to be cancelled as well.
