Cool! Part of me wants to ask you how you did it, the other half of me is thinking "but I don't know how to set up PGP!"

I followed the instructions here (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/pubkey.bml). I think there's a pointer to relevant pages for key creation and such in the vicinity. I use GPG (and Mailcrypt in Emacs), which lives at http://www.gnupg.org/

And now I have set up GPG and it seems to work with mutt, I now find that free LJ accounts don't support posting updates anyway. Oh well.
