There's going to be a new edition of Paranoia. "Oh no, not again!" I hear you say, since you too remember the foulness that was the Fifth Edition? (Well, those of you not going "Huh? How can there be a new edition of a mental disorder?", anyway).

Well, this time it's being done by two of the original designers, including Greg Costikyan. And they've officially stated that the Fifth Edition Does Not Exist. The Computer says so. Do you doubt the Computer?

I thought not.

Costikyan has a blog devoted to the project, for those who want to know more.

I still haven't played Paranoia but I hope I will in the future. People say it's fun. *grins*
I get paranoid enough when playing Call of Cthulhu...

Paranoia is a rather special game. Some people like it a lot (me included), some people hate it with a passion. The main thing to remember is that sudden, violent and pointless death is expected and common. It's not without reason you have six clones of your character, and I've GM:ed plenty of sessions where players went through all those clones in a couple of hours.

Don't think I've played Paranoia since Uni. Could be fun.
