Despite the fact that Xena is rarely seen without full make-up - perhaps more to do with appeasing the teenage male demographic than her inherent butchness - I think she just about edges it. I think it's the whole stone-cold stoic thing and how, in the early days, she got uncomfortable with any PDAs (public displays of affection). So very butch.
