[livejournal.com profile] jennyaxe said it was OK to post this

In the Christian bible, does Jesus count as God's Mary Sue?

Well... as far as the New Testament goes, Mark's Gospel is generally credited as the oldest Gospel, so I'd say that canon!Jesus became his Mary Sue. Then the other apostles got into the act, and lo! Jesus became a fandom.

God: Like J.K. Rowling, in a way.

*gets handbasket*

Oh, 'tis true. Take a look at this. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/nostalgia_lj/170605.html) Jesus is *so* God's Mary Sue.

LOL.
But some people would say that it isn't actually a Mary-Sue, but a self-insertion fic. Cuz, like, God could do all those things anyway, so it was realistic, rather than being a Mary-Sue.

On a related question, whose Mary-Sue would Bhudda be?
