The weekend's food
Oct. 27th, 2002 09:59 pmFriday: Smoked salmon toast. Fillet of beef covered with walnuts and cheese, with rösti and port sauce. Orange and Rosemary icecream.
Saturday: Shrimp and bellpepper soup. Saffron and garlic-marinated fillet of lamb with gratin of potato and various root vegetables and a light balsamico sauce. Raspberry tartlettes with whipped vanilla cream.
Sunday: Black chanterel and stilton soup. French beef, apple and prune stew with boiled potatos. A kind of very sweet apple pieish thing.
Food-wise, a very nice weekend. Tomorrow I think I'll have pizza.
