How easy it is to forget old songs you really like when you don't have them easily available. And how the concept of "easily available" has changed with the advent of good sound cards and MP3 files.

And she says "I've come to set a twisted thing straight"
And she says "I've come to lighten this dark heart"
And she takes my wrist, I feel her imprint of fear
And I say "I've never thought of finding you here"

And now we're leaving for the yearly crayfish party with my mother, my siblings, mom's boyfriend (which still is a strange word to use for a man in his mid-fiftes) and mom's boyfriend's kids. I usually don't find crayfish worth the bother, but these have been fished the day before yesterday by my brother and boiled today, so they're likely to be pretty good. Far better than store-bought Chinese or Turkish ones, anyway.

Be happy and write lots while I'm gone!
