Today I've been and booked a time to get a tattoo. I also suddenly realized that Thursday was jennyaxe's and mine fourth wedding anniversary. Which makes the second year in a row that I remembered that a couple of days late, but still before she did :-)

X-Men 3

We've just been to see X-Men 3. It was not good.

The acting and the effects are about as good as in the first two movies (which is no big surprise, really). The script sucks. Really sucks. fanfiction.net levels of sucks. If it had been a fanfic I'd found online, I'd have stopped reading halfway down the first page. The protagonists are way out of character (particularly Magneto, who's pretty much a weak parody of himself). The plot makes no sense. There are lots of characters without purpose. The dialogue varies between being stupid and making you cringe. Oh, and it relies heavily on clichés.

If you liked the first two movies, it may be worth seeing this one just to watch the characters and the effects. Oh, and there's some really juicy Magneto/Xavier slashbait.
