cdybedahlOur ill friend is slipping away pretty fast. Yesterday she didn't wake up at all. Which may be from too much morphine or because the cancer is growing faster than expected. The doctors are investigating now.
On the less bad front, an old friend of hers is a doctor working in terminal care, and she's volunteered to come and take care of our friend in her own home for what time she has left. This is good, because she has been quite vehemently against going into the hospital. It also means that the kids can be closer to her, which I suspect is good for both her and them.
