Orphea's Song

A comment by Rebecca Ore on BOFHnet made me realize that my NaNoWriMo novel from last year suffers from a bad fundamental flaw in the plot. Given that, I no longer feel like trying to wodge it into shape. So instead I'm making it publicly available on my site for the morbidly curious. It's 55800 words (or just over 100 A4- or Letter-size pages in PDF format) of near-future SF, prominently featuring a relationship between two women. If you do try to read it, I would very much like to know where you stop.

I got about a quarter of the way in then skimmed the rest because at that point I'd worked out what was happening. Trouble is that the Orpheus myth has been used a few times too many, and Darwin's Radio and Blood Music have covered a lot of the same ground, so the plot just didn't feel particularly flesh.
