Not so good

Our car started leaking gasoline. That's not a very good thing for a car to do, I'm told. So it's at a garage now, and we have rented a much smaller car so that [livejournal.com profile] jennyaxe can get to work.

My old Datsun used to have a rusty petrol tank, couldn't fill it more than half full, or the petrol would just run out. Tended to run out sometimes anyway.

S'only a problem if it catches fire. :)

phew! well, sort of.... Always bad to have something break down, but it would be doubly frustrating if it were a nice shiny new hi-tech toy.

I hope they can get it fixed.

It would, on the other hand, probably be much cheaper if it was the shiny new toy - they tend to come with papers saying "if this breaks down' we'll fix it".
