Cat bathing

Today we gave one of the cats (Tusse, the birma) a bath. He needs that occasionally, to keep his fur from becoming one big tangle. Fortunately for us, birmans are terribly wimpy cats, so all he does when being bathed is to meow miserably and try to run away.

Here he is just dried a little with a towel, which was about all he would accept. He'd much rather hide somewhere (like in my bed!) and lick himself dry.

And here he's getting a bit of a treat, as an apology for the terrible treatment he'd been exposed to.

He tries to run away? That's an unusually assertive birman you've got there. Most of the ones I've known just look like martyrs and hardly even meow.
