So we were going out to lunch.

When we walked out into the back yard, we saw a police helicopter hovering nearby. It was kind of hard to miss. They're not very stealthy, helicopters.

When we walked out the rear entrance to the back yard we saw a police van drive by. "Do you think something's going on?", I said.

A few steps later, and we saw that Vanadisplan was crawling with police officers busily cordoning the place off.

"Um, yes," Jenny said.

Now, our favourite lunch place is on Vanadisplan, so we approached the nearest policeman and asked what was going on. "Bank robbery," he said. "There is someting in the bank that may be a bomb. We don't know yet. We strongly recommend that you go somewhere else."

Which we did.
