What's the longest female first name you can think of that might semi-reasonably be in use today? The best I can come up with are "Christina" and "Alexandra" at nine letters each.

And are there any other two-letter ones than "Bo"?

Do contractions count? "Di"?

For the purposes of a silly joke in a fic, it's enough. And it reminds me that there was a potential Slayer called Vi in Buffy.

BTW, only 9 letters in "Christina"?

Lots of common 9 letter ones: Elizabeth, Charlotte, Katharine. The only longer ones I could come up with were Christabel, Ermintrude (both 10).

Dunno if it's what you're looking for (and you may hate it) but Bernadette has 10 letters.

We have a Christiana (from Bremen) working at the factory. That's another ten letter one. I don't know if there's such a name as Alexandrina, but if there is then it's 11 letters. (There is an Alexandrine Parakeet, which might be named after an Alexandrina.)

Well, there are always double names, if you want to cheat. I used to know a Marie-Therese. For short ones, maybe Li, or Jo if she's Anglo.
