1. books:
   I learned to read when I was five. When I was eight I was reading two books a day, and my mom told me to start reading grownup books to make them last longer. Today I share a flat with somewhere between 2000 and 3000 books.
2. cooking:
   Preferably with lots of spices in it.
3. faith and the muse:
   An unusually varied band. Most of their stuff is good, some of it is absolutely amazing.
4. femmeslash:
   Well, what's not to like about women having sex with each other?
5. gabrielle/faith:
   They are so right for each other! For some reason, I am the only one on LJ with this interest. This is a bug in the Universe.
6. kate bush:
   THERE IS A NEW SONG! THERE IS A NEW SONG! THERE IS A NEW SONG!
   
   I wonder if IED has a livejournal?
7. mod_perl:
   This has lately changed from hobby to work.
8. perl6:
   Obfuscated perl6 code is going to be scary.
9. sam/janet:
   A pairing with much too little support in canon. The series would've been much more fun if there had been as much Sam/Janet as there is Jack/Daniel.
10. writing:
    I'm one of the poor bastards who can't not write.

You are so right about Gabrielle/Faith!!! Never occurred to me before...

If I had written Stargate SG1, there would have been as much Sam/Janet as Jack/Daniel...and more slashy vibes at all! More touching.
But isn't the Jack/Daniel beautiful? :)
