Weekend report

cdybedahlWell, it's good to be back at work so I can rest after the weekend... Or something like that.
Some thinking ahead had shown that Saturday morning was about the only possible time for a workout, so that's how that day got started. This past Tuesday I had the second instruction pass, which was about how to use a few machines for upper-body exercise. I've done that part or the program twice now, and it's become obvious that the effects of bicycling a lot while I lived in Linköping a decade ago still lingers. My upper body is a lot weaker than the legs, relatively speaking. For the legs, about twice the recommended beginner program felt all right. For the upper body, the beginner program is plenty.
In the latter part of the day I was off to an old friend for a full moon ritual with a few people from the old coven. Which was nice, I haven't seen a couple of them in too long. I also took the opportunity to ask one of them to help me figure something out. The answer was interesting, to put it mildly. Arrived home at about 2:30AM and fell asleep an hour later. Got up at 8:30, since I wanted to come along whenjennyaxe and jegra took my lovely harp teacher (henceforth refered to as LHT, I think, since her name is far too easily googled) riding. Armed with a camera, I hung around while they prepared jegra's two horses and rode about in the riding hall (or whatever it's properly called, a large indoor space for riding). LHT seemed to make a pretty good impression on jegra, and even got to ride her younger almost untrained horse. For my part, I somehow managed to resist taking any pictures that were too obviously only for LHT's well-shaped backside.
After that, we had some tea with LHT, dropped her off at her place, went home, ate, watched some Dead Like Me and eventually slept.

It was lovely to have you all there in the stables, I'd love to do it again some time.
FYI - the finger is just fine, a tiny bit red on one side of the joint. The arm has a scratch but is otherwise fine.
