True to form, this is a ficathon fic that's been rushed to completion at the last possible minute. I hope it'll do, and that there aren't too many stupid mistakes.

It's written for lyssie, who wanted Samantha Carter/Kara Thrace, preferably set on the SG-1 side. This she gets. There's also rather more Sam/Janet than I intended, so I hope she's not allergic to that pairing... The thing is 9500 words long, which is more than LiveJournal wants to deal with in a single post, so I've split it into two posts. Enjoy. Or not.

Sequel, not so much, mostly because then I'd have to deal with the Ori thing and that feels like no fun. BtVS crossover prequel explaining why Sam knows Buffy, quite probably.

*happysigh* I am not particularly a Sam/Janet fan, but this worked for me.

This is the Kara/Sam I love. The "can't get their hands/bond over booze/have lots of sex" type. *g* Sam being felonious and breaking into Area 51 is also lovely.

I would love a sequel to this. I love the story but it left me with questions. Does Sam get a dishonorable discharge? Does Starbuck get back to her people? Does Sam help the Battlestar Galactia people defend against the Cylons? How about Kara and Cassie? What does Janet thin about Kara, about Sam being with Kara, about Cassie and Kara?
