Overheard at the gym

A GUY and his FRIEND are pretending to work out on the abdomen-torturing devices. While they do this, they talk.

FRIEND: So did you ask her out?
GUY: Yeah. I asked if she wanted to come over and, like, get a pizza and rent a movie.
FRIEND: So did she?
GUY: Yeah. Only she said I'd better make sure to rent a movie she likes.
FRIEND: So what kind of movie does she like?
GUY: Haven't got a fucking clue. So I thought, if I rent one of every kind there is, she's got like some, right?
FRIEND: Wouldn't that be a whole lot of movies?
GUY: Yeah. I came home with rented movies for, like, $400.
FRIEND: …
GUY: And then she texted me and cancelled.

It's like Seinfeld in Swedish. I hope next time they fail to get together she tells him she doesn't care about the movie but he'd better get a pizza she likes. Cheesy hijinks ensue.
