- The Babylon 5 episode Divided Loyalties. Because, you know, it's an SF series, and Sam probably likes that kind of stuff. What with her gallivanting about the galaxy and messing with alien machines and all. And it has co-workers Susan and Talia ending up in the same bed, and almost kissing, and, well, being really innuendo-rich. Unfortunately, Sam just got annoyed at the bogus science and didn't pick up on the girl/girl stuff at all.
- The pilot episode of Hex. Because pretty much everything Thelma said to Cassie about her feelings (before she died, at least), Janet might've said to Sam. If they'd been inexperienced teenagers instead of repressed Air Force officers, that is. It didn't work any better than the B5 episode. Sam spent the entire time being annoyed at the bogus mythology, speculating on which Goa'uld really was behind the legends mentioned and spotting plot holes.
- The Buffy episode New Moon Rising. You know, the one where Oz returns and leaves and Willow and Tara get together. Not that Janet really expected Sam to pick up on anything that time either, but, hey, it's a good episode. Apart from all the scenes with Riley in them. Oddly enough, Sam didn't object at all to the way the Initiative was portrayed, and when Janet tried to ask about it she got the "That information is classified" change of subject. Which amazed Janet enough that she almost missed the suspicious sidelong glances she got from Sam during the scene where Willow comes out to Buffy.
- The Xena episode A Day in the Life. Janet hadn't really expected to need to bring out the big guns, but Sam's obliviousness was greater than she had ever suspected. And she still didn't seem to get it. Not even when Janet dropped a "Doesn't that look nice?" during the hot tub scene. All she got was a "I prefer proper plumbing" and a lecture on the square-cube law and giant humanoids.
- The Xena episode Heart of Darkness. Which even Janet admitted is a really, really crap episode, but it has that scene. The one where they dance. With Xena dressed in a figure-hugging black leather dress and Gabrielle in a black leather miniskirt and matching bra. And they kind ooze around each other touching all the time while looking like they're a millisecond away from kissing. When Sam didn't react to that Janet couldn't stay silent any more. "Oh come on!" she said. "How thick are you when it comes to personal stuff?". At which Sam beamed her most mischievous smile at Janet, and said "I got it during the Divided Loyalties teaser, I just wanted to see what you'd pick next." And after Janet had finished hitting her with the sofa cushion, they got down to the kissing themselves.
