Status

Right. Haven't been posting much lately. That's because nothing much is happening. Work. Sleep. Coven stuff. Playing Sim2 and/or Civ4. Work out. And that's about it.

I ordered a bunch of prints from ursulav. You can see which ones here (or, well, links to them). The one with the angels is for jennyaxe, who's planning to put it on her office wall at work. I plan to put the other four on the wall in the computer room at home.

I also ordered a djembe. It's supposed to be on its way up from Ghana at the moment. I do think it is, because a couple of people in the coven bought drums from the same place a few weeks ago and recieved theirs quickly and without problems. I'll probably post pictures of it once it gets here. If you're out of luck, I'll even record the sound of it and post that as well.

The mouse on the brain combined with the little story under it (which I've asked to have included on the print) was the one that made me go "It must be mine!". Then it felt silly to pay more for postage than for the prints, so I decided to make it a set. Then Jenny wanted one as well.

Let's hope the replacement drum arrives intact, instead of trying to match your expectations better than the one with a crack.

After taking the seller's suggestion to saw off the broken part, I have a working drum, albeit a bongo instead of a djembe. So it's not going to be a total loss in any case.
