Dr Who: "Image of the Fendahl"

1) Leela rocks. Seriously. I've only seen her in three episodes so far (Face of Evil, The Robots of Death and Image of the Fendahl (spot the connection!)), but I think she's the most fun companion I've yet seen. She's tough, smart, pretty and she treats the Doctor in exactly the same fondly condescending fashion that he treats her. Highly enjoyable.

2) Is there any connection between the Mrs Tyler in this episode and Rose Tyler? Age/time-wise it could be Rose's grandmother or great-grandmother.

2) I don't believe there is an affirmative connection between the Tylers, but the same justification for ESP as in Fendahl was used in The Unquiet Dead.

Leela's great, she is my all time favourite companion (unless I've decided to like someone else that day.) The Horror of Fang Rock is a fantastic Leela epsiode, she gets to slap a hysterical damsel in distress type to shut her up. Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I like that so much.

Oh yes, I loved The Horror of Fang Rock. Leela gets a great speech at the end, "I hope you enjoy dying as much as I've enjoyed killing you..."
