Redemption!

cdybedahlIf you're involved or interested in Blake's 7 or Babylon 5 fandom, you want to go to Redemption '03! It's a fan-run non-profit convention that'll be held in Ashford (in Kent (in England)) 21-23 February 2003. Redemption cons were held in 1999 and 2001 as well, and they were great fun, I can tell you. The emphasis is on fans and fandom, not big-name guests, but there are a few guests. At the moment, they are:
If things go according to plan, I'll be holding a panel on Wicca in the real world and in the Buffyverse (very few fans stick to only two fandoms, and this con is for and by the fans), and I'll be one of two people interviewing Tanith Lee (which I'm ridiculously excited about, since she's been one of my favourite writers for more than twenty years now).
I'll see some of you there, I hope?
- Chris Boucher, script editor on Blake's 7 and a seriously dark and bitter writer.
- Damian London, who played the Centauri Regent on Babylon 5.
- Mike Collins, who's some kind of artist.
- And, announced today, Tanith Lee! SF and Fantasy writer with fiftyish novels and at least one World Fantasy Award under her belt, she also wrote two episodes of B7.
