cdybedahlIt suddenly occured to me that today it's three years and two days since I started working here, and three years exactly since I got my workstation up and running to the point where I had a working mail server. What better time to look back and see what's passed...
During that time, I have sent 9159 mails and recieved 316311 of them. That's 8.4 sent and 288.6 received per day, on average.
Of the mails sent, 5158 were private and 4001 were work-related.
The first mail I ever sent from here was to a salescritter that I have since come to detest intensely.
The average length of my sent mails is almost exactly eight kilobytes. The median length, on the other hand, is only 1.5 kilobytes. The longest mail I've sent was just over 25 megabytes, and the shortest was 463 bytes. The total size of sent mail is 70.2 megabytes.
And now for the next three years...
