The Windows Vista Experience, part sloooow: the return

The crappy interactive response of this thing is driving me nuts. Everything takes a noticeable fraction of a second, and I'm not used to that, so I keep doing things too fast for Vista to follow. I make typos, because I press the next key before Vista has reacted to the last one. I try to change the size of a window, and end up doing something random in another window because I moved the mouse before Vista had reacted to the button press on the frame. I end up starting several downloads of the same file, because it takes almost a second for it to render the visual feedback of clicking a button in IE.

... wow, that sounds unexcusably slow. Did you try changing the interface from the fancy prertty Aero thing that doesn't work on most older computers?
