The world, it changes...

I am currently sitting on a train, on my way down to visit my mother-in-law. Jenny went down to see her this Sunday, but I had to work a few more days. I've been missing her like crazy, even though it really hasn't been that long.

Anyway. That's not what I intended to say. What I intended to say, is that it feels slightly amazing to have a working Internet connection from my laptop while speeding through the countryside at a bit under 200 kilometers per hour. Sure, it's not fast and I've had some of the highest ping times I've ever seen (almost eleven seconds).

But it works.

Tomorrow it'll be eight years since she and the cats moved in with me. It doesn't feel nearly that long.
