Phone call

Boss called relaying a simple question from cow-orker who apparently handles my machines while I'm gone. Just from the question I can tell that he's trying to solve an old problem the wrong way. Trying hard not to care and mostly failing. Shit, I can feel my blood pressure rising and my heart beating faster.

I'm starting to suspect that I'm not going to be able to go back to work next week.

It does, doesn't it? I could probably get extended sick leave if I just talked to a doctor, but that'd cut my income in half and with the wife already on sick leave that's not so fun. On the other hand, feeling like this is even less fun, so...
