css/edge is a very nice site demonstrating a variety of pretty cool things that can be quite easily done with standards-compliant HTML and CSS. It's a pity that MSIE doesn't do standards-compliance...
Yep, that's been one of my top pics as I (slowly) re-design my website in CSS. The MSIE thing really wound me up when trying to replace frames with a fixed menu. While Opera, Mozilla etc understand the idea of a fixed object and leave it unscrolling on the screen, IE just lets the thing scroll up and down as usual.
