The day after

Last night, I went to an old friend's 30th birthday party. Which was sort of scary, because when I first met her she was 21 and I've never quite thought about her as being any older than that. She's still that weird mixture of way-older-than-her-years and way-younger-than-her-years that she was back then. Only now she's married and has a son.

Anyway, I hadn't intended to drink at all, but then another friend have her a magnum bottle of really good champagne for a present. Which she opened at once. And I like really good champagne. And one thing led to another.

End result, today I'm hung over.

Do you remember what brand of champagne it was? I'm always on the lookout for good champagnes (I'm rather fond of Veuve Cliquot myself).

Hello! And that reminds me that I have a terminology rant to write.

I started looking at your journal after I read you questionaire reply on the dark_paganism community and found it eerily similar to my own. In case you're wondering.

And it was a Moet & Chandon. One of the big names, I'm afraid, so it's not much of a find. The selection narrows down a lot when you want a magnum-size bottle. It's been too long since i had any Veuve Cliquot for me to make a comparison, too.
