The day after

cdybedahlLast night, I went to an old friend's 30th birthday party. Which was sort of scary, because when I first met her she was 21 and I've never quite thought about her as being any older than that. She's still that weird mixture of way-older-than-her-years and way-younger-than-her-years that she was back then. Only now she's married and has a son.
Anyway, I hadn't intended to drink at all, but then another friend have her a magnum bottle of really good champagne for a present. Which she opened at once. And I like really good champagne. And one thing led to another.
End result, today I'm hung over.

Date: 2002-09-07 09:40 am (UTC)I started looking at your journal after I read you questionaire reply on the dark_paganism community and found it eerily similar to my own. In case you're wondering.
And it was a Moet & Chandon. One of the big names, I'm afraid, so it's not much of a find. The selection narrows down a lot when you want a magnum-size bottle. It's been too long since i had any Veuve Cliquot for me to make a comparison, too.
